The Final Draft of my series project. A collaboration of my favorites. I tried combining all the different approaches I worked with during this project and combining them into a cohesive set.

This is the first draft in my series project focusing on close-up abstract shots. I tried to integrate what I learned from my earlier experience in this area with fresh new ideas.

Mixed Draft

My newest draft is a combination of a number of different styles I've used over the past week. It mixes abstract, negative space, and shadows. Shadows were supposed to be the primary focus but the weather hindered our cause. Overall I'm happy with how the shots came out.

This is the second draft of my Abstract series. I wanted to explore some similar styles from last week, along with looking for new and unique shots.

Abstract Draft 1

This is my first draft of my latest project for photography, abstract shots. I was given two general guidelines, shoot flat to the target, and make sure the final shot is generally mysterious. It was a bit of a general concept at first, and hard to narrow down, so I made sure to try a number of different approaches. I focused a lot on having unique textures in these shots. Overall I think it's a good start but there is certainly room to improve. My first shot is flipped 90 degrees clockwise from what I intended it to be.

My shots for our Rule of Thirds project. I mostly focused on objects surrounded by a blank background so that the thirds were easier to create. I really liked how these turned out, 

especially since all of them were taken inside the school.

Blast from the Past: Volume 4

This is the final part of my Blast from the Past series. This one covers my high school career up to the current day. My first two pictures are of a couple of my favorite tv shows, followed by one of my favorite albums. After that is the dvd cover of a ski movie that really opened up a whole new world for me. After that I have a shot of a well known spot at Squaw Valley, and then the Oracle Arena.

Blast from the Past: Volume 3

This is the third part of my Blast from the Past series. This series focused on my middle school experience. The first image is of my favorite movie from the time. Then I have one of a football player I was a huge fan of at the time, LaDanian tomlinson. Third is a picture of a game, call of the duty 4. Next is of one of my favorite restaurants, Nick's Crispy Tacos. Then the album cover of one of my favorite artists. Last up is a first person shot of one of my favorite ski runs.
