Minimalism Draft 1
This is the first draft of my new series project on minimalism. Minimalism is a fairly subjective concept that leaves much room for the artist's interpretation but it essentially boils down to the idea of using as few distinct elements in your photograph as possible. Keeping things simple. I struggled about with the open-ended nature of the idea, so I'll definitely need more time to explore the concept. So far of mostly focused on striking subjects with a plain backgrounds.

Negative Space
Here's my most recent series- a project on negative space. I started with the basics here, focusing mostly on buildings and aerial shots. I went for simple lighting and composed my shorts in a fairly basic manner.

Experimental Series
Here's my series working with my favorite filter from my previous experimental work; watercolor. The filter creates a dark and grainy look to the shot, but it's intrusion is minimal relatively speaking. Sometimes you don't even notice its' inclusion. Because off the dark nature of the filter, I had to pick images with plenty of natural light, and ignore exposure as the filter essentially did that for me. I also found that macro images worked well with this effect.
