Motion Pictures

This set of pictures was taken during an exercise focusing on motion. All of the below pictures could be described as "light sculptures." We blacked out the entire room, and then designated one person to use a small pen flashlight. You then turn your camera's shutter speed setting a long way's down. Finally, the person holding the light moves a few feet away from you and waves it around in any pattern you want. The result are the below pictures. It creates an interesting contrast.

  1. I think that the photos of the lights are really successful. It would have been cool to have some different colors, but overall the pictures came out great. Where are the rest of the motion pictures?
